HOUSTON, TX – APRIL 7: Steven Adams /

High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Steven Adams (vs SAC – $7,500):Needs 31.5 fantasy points. Adams has been over 40 fantasy points in both games to start the season. The return of Russell Westbrook might hurt his value a bit because Westbrook will get some of those rebounds that Adams has been getting, unless OKC has changed their rebounding scheme. Because of that, be cautious when it comes to Adams. He might be under 40 fantasy points as a result. Diagnosis: Even with Westbrook in the lineup, he should do enough to at least hit value.

Nikola Jokic (vs GS – $9,600):Needs 40.4 fantasy points. Jokic dominated the Suns to the tune of 80.9 fantasy points. He’ll have a tougher time against Draymond Green and the Warriors, but there’s no doubt that Jokic is playing with that aggressive mentality that nearly helped carry the Nuggets into the playoffs last season. He was up-and-down against the Warriors last season. Diagnosis: Extremely high ceiling, but on a back-to-back against the Warriors, it won’t be easy. Proceed with some caution.

Clint Capela (at LAC – $6,800):Needs 28.6 fantasy points. Capela had 34.4 fantasy points against the Lakers on Saturday. If Chris Paul misses the game, it means more opportunities for Capela. He and Harden still have excellent chemistry and the more Harden has the ball in his hands, the more likely it is that Capela gets lob opportunities. The Clippers don’t have a great option against him because Marcin Gortat certainly is not it. Diagnosis: Good opportunity for more scoring and rebounding with Chris Paul out. A matchup he did well against last season.
