John Cena announces he will be at WrestleMania 35
John Cena has announced during an interview with The Today Show Radio with Hoda Kotb that he will a part of Wrestlemania 35, as he answered a question from an audience member in regard to his WWE status.
Although he has taken a part-time role in WWE, mega-star John Cena has announced that he will be at Wrestlemania 35, as he confirmed his WWE status during an interview with SiriusXM’s The Today Show Radio with Hoda Kotb when a young audience member asked him a question.
“New York. I’m here right now, aren’t I?” Cena asked.
“Would you like to ‘see me’ at WrestleMania 35? Then you know what, I was thinking about missing it, but because you wanna see me there, I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I promise you I’ll be there, I promise. Okay? We’ll shake on it, we’ll make it official.”
Although he hasn’t indicated if he’ll be wrestling at the event or not, considering Cena’s popularity despite making limited appearances in WWE, there may be a good chance he’ll get a high-profile match at WrestleMania. It’s also worth noting that Cena is one of the performers being promoted as part of the upcoming Crown Jewel event, which is being hyped up as a spectacular with big names scheduled to wrestle such as Kurt Angle, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and even Shawn Michaels.

However, it’s worth noting as well that Cena has been heavily involved in the acting scene, which may play a role on how physical he’s able to get if he does in fact perform at WrestleMania. It’s been rumored that ever since his tag team match with Bobby Lashley went down at the Super Showdown event in Australia, he wasn’t supposed to take any bumps due to a movie he was involved in.
