Week 7 of the NFL season is here. Prepare for your weekly DraftKing lineups here.
The NFL is nearing the half way point and daily fantasy is in full swing. Week 6 of the NFL saw the top tier defenses being shredded by mediocre offenses. That was bad news for most daily players who relied on previous performances to set their lineups. Certain players are separating themselves as fantasy studs and this week’s DraftKings pricing shows that.

Starting it off with the quarterbacks.

Quarterbacks

Jared Goff, Los Angles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers – $6600

It is nice to finally see the signal caller for the Rams to get some fantasy love. He has been undervalued most of the season for one of the NFL’s highest paced offenses. Now with a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, he gets the top spot. Goff gets to battle a San Francisco defense that has given up 14 touchdown passes and only has one interception. This is a fiery front seven but the back end leaves a lot to be desired. This could be a big week for the former number one pick.

Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings @ New York Jets – $6400

After signing in Minnesota, Kirk Cousins is off to a fast start with pair of top flight receivers. This week he plays a Jets team ranked dead center of the league in terms of points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Cousins has to be careful as the opportunistic and talented Jets secondary already has ten interceptions on the season. Playing on the road, on a cold New Jersey Sunday, could be tough sledding.

Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Cleveland Browns – $6300

The jury may still be out if Tampa Bay sees Jameis Winston as their quarterback of the future, but one thing is for sure, the guy can put up fantasy stats. Aside from his typical bonehead interception, Winston has looked solid in his return from suspension. This week he plays at home against a Browns defense that has dominated opposing passing attacks. They’ve got nine interceptions on the year compared to nine touchdowns. This is a week to fade Winston and his top targets against a tough Browns secondary, even with the game being in Florida.

Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts vs Buffalo Bills – $6200

Andrew Luck is returning to form, now if his team could put some quality weapons around him, we would be able to see how talented he truly is. Throwing to guys that are seemingly off the street, Luck is still having a solid fantasy season. This week could be tough sledding against a strong Bills defense. Buffalo has bounced back from the Week 1 disaster to be one of the three best defenses against opposing quarterbacks. Luck will need T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle back if he plans on having any semblance of a quality outing.

Tom Brady, New England Patriots @ Chicago Bears – $6100

After playing what is possibly the most friendly fantasy defense in the Chiefs, Tom Brady has to turn around and travel to a cold Chicago to face a Bears defense looking to rebound. If this is a Bears team that let Brock Osweiler beat them, Tom Brady is in for a big game. If this is the defense that looked dominant earlier in the season, then Brady is in trouble. It is hard to ever count out the future Hall of Fame quarterback. He is likely to put up great numbers, like always.

Value Quarterbacks

Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens vs New Orleans Saints – $5400

Is it possible that drafting Lamar Jackson has lit a fire under Joe Flacco? It certainly looks like that as Flacco is playing well piggy-backing his elite defense. The new pieces on offense have paid off, especially John Brown. Flacco gets a Saints defense that gave Eli Manning and Alex Smith the best games of the season. With New Orleans on the road, it could be a great spot to save some money and grab Flacco here.

Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $5800

This may not seem like great value given Mayfield is ranked eighth in pricing, but it is a tough slate this week for quarterbacks. When in doubt at that position, go with a player facing the Buccaneers. They NFL’s worst pass defense fired their coordinator this week and now get Mayfield looking to bounce back his worst performance. Tampa may eventually get it figured out on defense, but this likely is not the week.

C.J. Beathard, San Francisco 49ers vs Los Angeles Rams – $4800

A deep dive at quarterback is the lowest priced starter for the week. C.J. Beathard has been surprisingly adequate as a fantasy performer in his career. He may never have a four touchdown game, but he will outperform his price tag pretty regularly.  This week he will need to keep up with the Rams offense, opening the door for a ton of points. Beathard is a strong value play, especially stacked with his top target George Kittle.
