Week 7 is finally upon us which means another Sunday filled with daily fantasy football. Who should be in your FanDuel lineup?

Last week’s lineup nearly totaled 150 fantasy points and only had three players who failed to score double-digit points. The Carolina Panthers defense fell to the Washington Redskins 23-17. They only recorded three fantasy points, all coming from sacks.

Oakland dropped to 1-5 after losing to the Seattle Seahawks 27-3. Marshawn Lynch compiled only 45 rushing yards and caught three passes for 14 yards against his former team. He finished with 7.4 fantasy points and has now failed to score double-digit points in consecutive weeks.

Things looked promising for Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate, after catching a touchdown pass on the opening drive. But, that was his lone reception in the game. Brate tallied eight fantasy points.

Todd Gurley’s production played a huge role in last week’s lineups success. Gurley rushed for a season-high 208 yards and scored two touchdowns. He led all running backs with 35.5 fantasy points. Gurley has scored 30+ fantasy points in back-to-back weeks and has eclipsed 20+ every single week.

At the wide receiver position, Tyler Boyd led the group with 21.7 fantasy points. He caught seven passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Boyd continues to be a reliable option for Andy Dalton, who threw for 229 passing yards and two scores. Dalton finished the afternoon with 17.16 fantasy points.

Julio Jones helped lead Atlanta to victory over Tampa Bay, but the veteran wideout was unable to find the end zone once again. He caught 10 passes for 143 yards and 19.3 fantasy points. Lastly, Robert Woods was Jared Goff’s favorite target in the Rams’ 23-20 victory over the Broncos. Woods caught seven passes for 109 yards and tallied 15.6 fantasy points.

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen occupied last week’s FLEX position and played well. Despite the team losing in overtime, he finished with 121 total yards and one rushing touchdown. If it wasn’t for his late-game fumble, Cohen would have scored over 20 fantasy points, instead, he finished with 19.6

My Week 7 lineup will only include players that are playing Sunday, minus the Sunday Night Football matchup. Also, the Green Bay Packers, Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks are on their bye week. All fantasy points discussed are based on FanDuel’s scoring system.

Here were Week 6’s top performers at each position:

QB: Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 32.46

RB: Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams – 35.5 & Melvin Gordon, Los Angeles Chargers – 34

WR: Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs – 35.7; Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers (Monday night) and Cole Beasley, Dallas Cowboys – 26.6

TE: Austin Hooper, Atlanta Falcons – 17.6

FLEX: Saquon Barkley, New York Giants – 33.4 (Thursday night) & Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs – 27 (Sunday night)

DEF: Baltimore Ravens – 21

Quarterback: Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns- $7,100

The Cleveland Browns dropped to 2-3-1 after losing the Los Angeles Chargers, 38-14. Mayfield completed 22-of-46 passes for 238 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Since becoming the starting quarterback, in Week 4, Mayfield has thrown for 875 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions.

His Week 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is a great opportunity for the rookie quarterback to bounce back. Opposing quarterbacks are averaging 28.6 fantasy points per game against the Buccaneers, the most in the NFL.

They have allowed 1,834 yards through the air and 16 touchdowns, tied for the most in the league. There are currently only two teams in the NFL that have surrendered more than 300 passing yards per game, the Chiefs and the Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay’s defense has been so putrid, they fired defensive coordinator Mike Smith earlier in the week. Linebackers coach Mark Duffer was named the interim coordinator.

Mayfield is currently dealing with a sore ankle, but the injury isn’t expected to keep him out of Sunday’s game.
