Players costing $6,667 or under

Dario Saric (at DET – $5,900): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. Saric has looked more like himself in the last two games, which has no doubt pleased fantasy owners. He’s not even scoring as he can typically do, but he’s getting value in other ways. If Simmons is out, he’ll have more opportunities to produce once again. He wasn’t good against the Pistons last season, which is a bit worrying. Diagnosis: Will need to start scoring, but he’s doing a good job in other areas, which is good news. No Simmons boosts his value.

Montrezl Harrell (at NO – $4,900): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. Harrell always produces against the Rockets and he did just that once again on Oct. 21, producing 43.5 fantasy points. He went over 40 fantasy points in two late games against the Pelicans last season. I think he’ll get playing time as he can do a better job on Anthony Davis than Marcin Gortat. Diagnosis: A slight risk as playing time could be an issue. But if he plays, he’ll produce.

Trey Lyles (vs SAC – $4,600): Needs 19.4 fantasy points. Lyles has been up-and-down this season but is coming off a strong 23.3 fantasy point game against the Warriors. He should see more playing time against the Kings as the Nuggets will need some extra offense due to injury and this one could be a blowout with the Kings defense. Diagnosis: Low-cost option who could give you up to 25 fantasy points.
