2019 NFL mock draft: 49ers take Nick Bosa first overall

The New York Giants suffered another loss in Week 7, this time in prime time against the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the fact that Matt Ryan threw for over 400 yards against the G-Men, the defense actually played a lot better, and was able to get good pressure against Ryan and the Falcons for most of the night.
On the offensive side of the ball, the Giants sputtered once again, and the sign on the wall says it could be time for them to move on from Eli Manning. The two-time Super Bowl MVP made some nice throws down the field, but when he did not have time, he looked very mediocre under center, and it appears his best days are behind him.
A lot of the talk around Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert this past week was that he would return to school next year to play with his younger brother. However, until there is definitive word that he is returning to the Ducks, we have to make him our first quarterback off the board, and there is no way the Giants pass on a signal-caller for the second straight year.
Herbert has the talent to make all the throws at the NFL level, and is a sure-fire first rounder once he decided to turn pro. The Giants need to have a succession plan in place for when Manning retires, and after what we have seen from him this season, that day should not be too far in the future.
