Here’s your college football betting guide for Week 9 that includes how to bet on Georgia vs. Florida and every other Top 25 game.

I really enjoyed college football’s week 8 slate of games. The close upsets, to the BIG upset with Purdue. Moving forward a lot of great matchups (at least we hope) in college football opening on Thursday night. I like watching these games through the week until Saturday. I have all the spreads and over/unders and I’ll let you know who to take.

Forecasts for the games are mostly devoid of any rain or snow so it should be a good sunny delight with a high chance of wagers being placed.

College football betting guide for Week 9

Teams on bye week: No. 1 Alabama, No. 4 LSU, No. 5 Michigan, No.10 UCF and No.11 Ohio State.

Thursday

Baylor at No. 13 West Virginia

Both teams are coming off losses before their bye last week. Will Grier had a big let-down game and could not get the offense rolling at all in the loss to Iowa State. The season is not a loss yet, but they do have to win out to have any chance of winning the Big 12 and having a shot at making the Playoff. I’m not off the Mountaineers yet, but this game will say a lot if I don’t see a similar score like Baylor had against Oklahoma. Expect high scoring in this one and the Mountaineers defense to return.

West Virginia (-13.5) (Over 65)

No. 25 Appalachian State at Georgia Southern

Appalachian State is in the Top 25 for the first time and could be the best team from the Group of Five with the way they’ve played this year. Darrynton Evans stepped up in a huge way rushing for 183 yards and a touchdown, also the defense came up huge holding the Cajuns to 17 points. Now they face a pesky one-loss Georgia Southern team in their place and I expect them to step up again and shut down the Eagles because of the strength of their defense. I expect Evans to rush for more than100 yards again and Thomas to throw for at least 200 yards.

Appalachian State (-8) (Over 45)

Friday

No. 23 Utah at UCLA

UCLA does have a chance to play in the Pac 12 Championship if they win out, which is a tall order after they lost the first five games. With a win against Utah, they will dispatch one of their two toughest tests remaining on the schedule. But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves because this Utah offense, defense and special teams are clicking on all cylinders now. Expect the Utes to get the win behind the efforts of Tyler Huntley and Zack Moss.

Utah (-10) (Over 56)
