High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Zach LaVine (at CHA – $8,400): Needs 35 fantasy points. Future MVP Zach LaVine continues to impress this season. He had 41.3 fantasy points against the Hornets on Oct. 24. His salary has jumped in a big way, but he’s been over 40 fantasy points in three of four games this season, so the salary isn’t quite enough of a deterrent in my eyes. Until he cools off, keep going with him. Diagnosis: Ride the hot hand, even if he’s starting to cost a bit more.

Jrue Holiday (vs BKN – $7,800): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. Holiday has been up-and-down this season as the Pelicans offense is more balanced this season than it was last season when Holiday played a bigger role. He’s still the second best option, but his ability to draw defenses and make the right play have allowed Payton and Mirotic to flourish. That said, I have a hard time going against anyone on the Pelicans right now. Diagnosis: He won’t fully hurt you and he has a high ceiling. I love the matchup as well.

Khris Middleton (at MIN – $7,600): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. Middleton continues to chug along this season. He’s a great second option to Giannis and the Bucks offense looks unstoppable thus far. Middleton’s value is still largely tied to his scoring, but he does enough in other areas to help out. And he’s scoring the ball just fine. Diagnosis: Great matchup for the second option on a high powered offense.
