Players costing $6,667 or under

Joe Ingles (at NO – $6,500): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. Ingles didn’t play well against the Rockets, finishing with just 22.7 fantasy points. The Pelicans are on a back-to-back and their defense still can’t be trusted, especially after how they looked against the Nets. And the fact that they had to play hard against the Nets might mean they don’t have their legs against the Jazz. And if they don’t, Utah is fundamentally sound and can burn them. Diagnosis: He’ll shoot better than he has over the last couple of games and bounce back over value.

Larry Nance Jr (vs IND – $5,000): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. Nance Jr. had 34.7 fantasy points against the Pistons on Oct. 25. With no Kevin Love in the lineup, Nance Jr stepped up in a big way. If Love is out once again, Nance Jr should be able to fill in with offense and rebounding. Diagnosis: If Love plays, I don’t like him quite as much. But if Love is out, take him with confidence.

Jae Crowder (at NO – $4,600): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. Crowder has been solid this season, averaging 26.2 fantasy points in four games. You should know the deal with Crowder by now. He’s going to get big minutes and he does a little bit of everything for the Jazz. Maybe minutes are an issue if the Jazz try to match the size of New Orleans with Derrick Favors, but Crowder’s salary is so low that he should deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable option with the minutes to produce in big ways.
