DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 28, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Russell Westbrook (vs PHO – $10,700): Needs 50.7 fantasy points. Westbrook is currently listed as questionable with a shoulder injury. He definitely didn’t look right against the Celtics, but Westbrook has a habit of not looking right from game-to-game. Check his status before making any decisions. If he plays, he’ll perform. He always does well against the Suns and the Suns are still a mess defensively. They’re also on a back-to-back and the Thunder are the most desperate team in the league when it comes to winning. And Westbrook likes to win. Diagnosis: Assuming he plays, he’ll deliver a big game. I don’t love the salary given other value on the night.
John Wall (at LAC – $9,000): Needs 42.6 fantasy points. Wall had 52 fantasy points against the Kings on Oct. 26. Wall typically puts up numbers, but I have no idea what’s going on with the Wizards right now. They are a train wreck on and off the floor. Wall will probably want to dunk on Gortat, so there’s at least that. Diagnosis: Wall will get his numbers if nothing else. But there’s also a chance he flames out and starts fighting Otto Porter.
Luka Doncic (vs UTA – $6,700): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. If Dennis Smith Jr doesn’t end up playing, Donic will be left to run the offense. Even if Smith Jr plays, Doncic has been a steady fantasy player all season. The Jazz are a tough matchup, but they are on a back-to-back and Doncic puts up solid numbers in all categories. Diagnosis: Reliable option with a higher ceiling if Smith Jr is out.
