FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 28, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Joe Ingles (at DAL – $6,600): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. Ingles still isn’t getting his shot to fall and that’s a bit concerning. He’s too good of a shooter to miss the looks he’s been getting. He’ll get the same looks against Dallas and their poor defense. At some point they are going to start to fall. Diagnosis: Maybe a risk given his last couple of games. But he’ll get hot sooner or later.
Harrison Barnes (vs UTA – $5,300): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. Barnes returned to the lineup on Oct. 26 against the Raptors and finished with 27.7 fantasy points. The Jazz are a tough matchup, even on a back-to-back. Barnes has big scoring ability, but his role in the offense is weird right now with DSJ stepping up, Donic in the mix, and Jordan being involved. I still like him at the salary. Diagnosis: Might be inconsistent as the Mavs get all the pieces working together. But this is a good salary for a guy who is going to get points.
Kelly Oubre Jr. (at LAC – $4,100): Needs 17 fantasy points. If Markieff Morris doesn’t end up playing, Oubre will get more minutes and opportunities. He had 40.8 fantasy points against the Kings on Oct. 26. He’s always an inconsistent option who can produce a big game with his scoring. He’s looking more reliable than Otto Porter, which is something that I never thought I’d say. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but it’s tough to trust anyone on the Wizards on a game-to-game basis.
