High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

DeMar DeRozan (vs DAL – $9,100): Needs 41.1 fantasy points. DeRozan has been over 60 fantasy points in two of his last three games. The rebounding numbers won’t continue as he’s not facing the Lakers, but the assists and scoring should continue to be there given the opponent. The Mavericks are on a back-to-back and the Spurs offense has looked unstoppable for most of this season. Diagnosis: Great matchup for a guy who is going to get points and assists. A double-double is not out of the question.

Jrue Holiday (at DEN – $6,700): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. If Anthony Davis plays, that helps Holiday’s cause as it will take some pressure off of him. But if he doesn’t, Holiday will be the focal point of the offense. Holiday was great against the Nuggets last season and despite improvements, I still don’t trust the Denver defense. Holiday’s shooting struggles are a bit of a concern. Diagnosis: He’s making up value elsewhere and the shots will fall at some point.

Caris LeVert (at NY – $6,400): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. LeVert played well against the Warriors, building off his strong start. The back-to-back is a bit concerning, but I’m not sure it’ll matter given that they are playing the Knicks. LeVert should be able to get his points and assists without issue. He’ll also chip in with rebounds. Diagnosis: Great matchup despite the back-to-back and he’s been excellent to start the season.

Quick Hits

Kawhi Leonard ($9,600): Playing well and should be able to go toe-to-toe with Giannis.

Josh Richardson ($6,900): Always take advantage of the Kings
