High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs DAL – $8,800): Needs 40.5 fantasy points. Aldridge has struggled in his last two games, which might be concerning if he wasn’t a top player. His shot hasn’t been falling and his rebounding numbers were down against the Lakers. There’s reason to think he’ll find more success against the Mavericks, who are on a back-to-back. He had good success going up against DeAndre Jordan last year. Diagnosis: Expect him to bounce back given his role in San Antonio.

Nikola Mirotic (at DEN – $7,300): Needs 33.4 fantasy points. If Anthony Davis doesn’t end up playing, Mirotic will be more of a focal point on offense. But if Davis does play, it’ll open things up for him. I like him better if Davis plays because I’m not sure he’s a No. 1 or even No. 2 option against a team playing as well as the Nuggets. He’s been great this season as the stretch four next to Davis and should continue to get those same looks. Diagnosis: Strong bet to be back over 40 fantasy points if Davis is in the lineup.

Draymond Green (at CHI – $7,000): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. Draymond is always a triple-double threat but can be a bust due to his lack of general scoring. Offense should be no problem for the Warriors, which means plenty of assists for Green. And he should chip in defensively and with rebounds. A double-double at the very least seems certain. Diagnosis: He’s starting to play himself into rhythm and shape, which is bad news for the rest of the league.

Quick Hits

Giannis Antetokounmp ($11,600): If he plays, he should deliver. He’ll finally have a close game to play in, but Kawhi’s defense will be tough.

Anthony Davis ($11,100): Build around him if he plays.
