High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Rodney Hood (vs DEN – $5,700): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. It feels weird trusting Rodney Hood, but here we are. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in the last two games. He’s one of the young players who will continue to get shots and he’s shooting very well right now. The Nuggets might have tired legs on the back-to-back. Diagnosis: Playing well, but a slight risk because he’s still Rodney Hood.

JJ Redick (vs LAC – $5,200): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Redick has been unusually unreliable this season, but you know what you’re getting with him. He’s going to get his shots and he’s too good of a shooter to not hit his fair share of shots. He helps his value by chipping in with assists and rebounds. Diagnosis: Typically reliable with a high ceiling.

Lou Williams (at PHI – $5,000): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. Williams has not been his explosive self this season as the Clippers find balance and Williams’ minutes are down. But this salary is too low for a player of his caliber. If nothing else, he’s reliable. I expect him to be more than reliable at this salary. Diagnosis: Low salary for a player with big game capability. Reliable at worst.
