High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Marvin Bagley III (at ATL – $5,500): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Like any rookie, Bagley III can be all over the place. The good news is that they are up against the Hawks, who are also all over the place. Especially on defense. They are confused, you see. Bagley can hurt them in the paint and on the board. I expect him to do both. Diagnosis: Great matchup, but be wary of rookie inconsistency.

Marcus Morris (vs MIL – $4,700): Needs 20.1 fantasy points. Morris has been strong the last three games, going over 27 fantasy points in all three contests. If Brown is out, Morris should see some extra playing time. He’s going to get his shots and he’s reliable when it comes to rebounding. Diagnosis: Playing well, at home where he typically plays better, and at a good salary.

Zach Collins (vs NO – $4,700): Needs 20.1 fantasy points. Collins doesn’t have the ceiling Morris has at the same salary, but he doesn’t have a more reliable overall game. The Pelicans are on a back-to-back and Collins should be a big part of the Blazers rotation given New Orleans’ size in the frontcourt. Diagnosis: Consistent option on a solid salary.
