Fantasy Football, Week 9: High value plays for FanDuel
By Dylan Broady
James White, New England Patriots, $7,800
Stats: 204 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns, 459 receiving yards, 6 touchdowns (FLEX ALERT)
Look, James White has made the absolute most out of his opportunities this season. White plays in a running back committee and still dominates the fantasy points. He is a must have going into a Week 9 tilt against the Green Bay Packers. White has proven to be matchup proof all season long.
With his current price tag for Week 9, White is a great fantasy football high value option for FanDuel lineups this Sunday. What is there not to love? His receiving yards is 2nd-ranked amongst running backs, his six receiving touchdowns is No.1 in the league amongst running backs. Take the price tag and fill up those other skill positions.
White this season in a committee backfield has averaged 25 rushing yards per game and 57 receiving yards. Where he lacks in carries he makes up for in receptions. White has 55 receptions on 61 targets this season. Guess what? Both 2nd-ranked amongst running backs. However you want to use this guy in your lineups, use him! Whether it’s flex or one of your two main running back positions.
We are all about these high value, high floor players who come at a cheap price. White is a player that will produce each and every week. Either as a runner or simply as a scat back. Green Bay has allowed a total of 340 yards per game. Tom Brady will find a way to get White the ball. Just like on Sunday night football against the Buffalo Bills. White scored the first touchdown of the game. He’s clearly Brady’s go to guy at the goalline.
Prediction: 50 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards, 2 total touchdowns
