The Los Angeles Rams are trying to stay undefeated but face their biggest test yet, going to the Superdome for a clash with the New Orleans Saints.

Last week, I brought the thunder to this column. After muddling through the first few weeks of the season, I got rolling something fierce in Week 8, only losing a single game (thanks Detroit, you’re a disgrace).

Now, we try for the perfect week, knowing full well the knuckle sandwich is likely right around the corner. Let’s get after it.

All of the lines are courtesy of OddsShark.

Oakland Raiders at San Francisco 49ers (-3)

How can the NFL live with itself, putting this nonsense in primetime. If C.J. Beathard can’t go, it’s the immortal Nick Mullens against Derek Carr and Jon Gruden, watched by a half-asleep crowd in Santa Clara. Instead of watching this, do some more enjoyable like cleaning the garage floor with a toothbrush.

Pick: Oakland 29, San Francisco 26

Atlanta Falcons at Washington Redskins (-1.5)

Washington (5-2) is quietly building toward a surprise playoff berth, while the Falcons (3-4) are simply striving to stay alive off their bye week. This should be one of the more competitive games of the week, but give me Alex Smith and Adrian Peterson at home. I know, I can’t believe it either.

Pick: Washington 24, Atlanta 21

Chicago Bears (-10) at Buffalo Bills

Nathan Peterman is breaking everyone’s will to live.

Pick: Chicago 20, Buffalo 9

Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings (-4.5)

The Vikings (4-3-1) have to win this game. The Lions (3-4) also have to win this game. However, Detroit just waved the white flag by trading away Golden Tate, while Minnesota still has its full compliment. These games are always wonky, but the Vikings are both at home and, more importantly, better.

Pick: Minnesota 30, Detroit 27
