Houston Texans at Denver Broncos (-1)

The Texans (5-3) have won five straight, and yet they are underdogs against the Broncos (3-5). Why? Because Houston has beaten the Colts, Cowboys, Bills, Jaguars and Dolphins in the most uninspiring ways possible, save the last victory. Denver is playing for its season, and it gets the job done in a tight spot.

Pick: Denver 25, Houston 23

Los Angeles Chargers at Seattle Seahawks (-1.5)

The Seahawks (4-3) are legitimately becoming a playoff contender. Now, they get a chance to take out the Chargers (5-2) in Seattle, a win that would put them squarely in position to challenge for a wild card spot as November gets rolling. This is a huge game for both teams as the Chargers try to keep pace with Kansas City in the AFC West.

Pick: Seattle 24, Los Angeles 21

Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints (-1.5)

Best game of the year to this point in the NFC. The Rams (8-0) have looked a tad bit vulnerable lately, but thanks to Ty Montgomery, they remain unbeaten. The Saints (6-1) haven’t lost since Week 1, and now they get Los Angeles in front of a raucous Superdome crowd. This is absolutely must-see TV.

Pick: New Orleans 34, Los Angeles 30

Green Bay Packers at New England Patriots (-5.5)

The Patriots (6-2) are the better team, at home. That said, Aaron Rodgers is a borderline must-win game for the Packers (3-3-1) should scare the hell out of everybody in Foxborough. This has the makings of a who-has-the-ball-last types of games.

Pick: New England 35, Green Bay 31

Tennessee Titans at Dallas Cowboys (-6.5)

How does ESPN always manage to get these games? You know who plays on Monday night next week? The damn Giants and 49ers? Why don’t they just broadcast some guy screaming into a can of Pringles instead? I’d legitimately be more interested.

Pick: Dallas 19, Tennessee 16

Last Week: 13-1
Season: 77-41-2
