4. Nick Chubb will be a top-10 running back

The firing of both Hue Jackson and Todd Haley in Cleveland has a lot of uncertainty swirling around the Browns this week. No one can know for sure what Gregg Williams is going to do as the interim head coach.

A ton of has been written about how all of these changes are going to impact Baker Mayfield moving forward. No one can be sure how all that is going to shake out. However, it’s a pretty good bet that Williams is going to lean heavily on the running game this week against the Chiefs. Keeping the ball away from Patrick Mahomes and company will be a priority for Cleveland.

Nick Chubb should be the guy who gets the most carries. Add that to the fact that the Chiefs’ defense is currently 25th in the NFL against the run and it’s easy see why the rookie has a shot at a breakout game. He’s carried the ball 18 times in both of his team’s last two games. Don’t be surprised if he goes over 25 carries on Sunday.

The key, of course, will be for Chubb to get into the end zone. We like his chances. The Browns probably aren’t going to threaten the Chiefs, but they should be able to score some points. Even if it’s just in garbage time, count on Chubb to hit pay dirt.

He’s another guy you should target in a trade before it’s too late. Think of him as a lesser version of what Leonard Fournette is supposed to be for Jacksonville.
