2. Ezekiel Elliott will be the week’s No. 1 running back

All of the talk in Dallas this week has focused on how the acquisition of Amari Cooper might impact the Cowboys offense. He’ll certainly help Dak Prescott and the team’s moribund passing attack, but it might take him a few weeks to adjust to Scott Linehan’s scheme.

In the meantime, Cooper’s biggest impact will be to keep defense’s honest. That means Ezekiel Elliott is going to face more seven-man fronts than he has all season against the Titans on Sunday night. Tennessee’s defense can’t handle the talented running back without an extra man in the box.

We’re not just calling for a good day from Elliott, we believe he’ll be the top running back in fantasy this weekend. Look for him to get over the 100 yard mark with relative ease. We also are projecting a multiple touchdown night for the talented running back.

Obviously, acquiring Elliott is going to force you to give up with something really valuable in return. This is still the week to make the transaction happen. The Dallas offense should improve steadily as Cooper gets more comfortable. That’s going to cause Elliott’s numbers to skyrocket down the stretch.
