Here’s everything you need to know about the Pac-12 North showdown between Stanford and Washington, including how to bet and watch online.

Washington is coming off of a tough loss on the road to California-Berkley where the offense was absolutely inept that game and Starter Jake Browning was benched. Stanford is looking to get back on track as well as they lost in a shootout to Washington State 41-38 at home.

Washington wasn’t able to move the ball last week against a subpar Cal Bears defense only rushing the ball for 91 yards. Browning hasn’t been playing up to his potential these last few weeks. In the past two games, he has been inefficient with the football, he has combined for 298 yards through the air, two touchdowns and two interceptions with a completion rating of around 56 percent. With this slump, his draft stock is beginning to drop drastically considering he was one of the top QBs in this upcoming draft.

The Huskies defense has been playing as well as any defense in the country and their effectiveness shows in the stat sheet.  Washington’s defense is led by Byron Murphy and linebackers Ben Burr-Kirven and Tevis Bartlett on the season they have only given up 15 points a game and 11 over the past two. They are known for creating turnovers and giving the offense the ball in crucial times. Washington leads the nation in forced fumbles with 14 and Ben Kurr-Kirven and Tevis Bartlett each have three forced fumbles.

Stanford hasn’t lived up to the expectations in the Pac-12, to say the least, but that credits how strong the conference is. Stanford hasn’t been able to do good against teams who throw the ball a lot and teams who go uptempo. The defense has been a testament to this not being able to handle Washington State last week as they allowed close to 500 yards of total offense.  KJ Costello has been playing solidly throughout the year, throwing for 2,165 yards with 17 touchdowns on 66 percent passing. Costello played his best game last week against The Cougars going for 323 yards on 79 percent passing. Bryce Love is not having that Heisman season we all expected but he is still Bryce Love and can still gash you for long runs.

Stanford’s defense will catch a break this week as they will face a more pro-style tempo when they face Chris Peterson’s offense. They will be able to make those adjustments on the fly a little more efficiently. Stanford offense will have a lot of trouble against this Huskie defense but if they can get Love and the other backs on the perimeter outside of the tackle and have an effective passing gameplan they will be able to keep the game close.
