The Mayakoba Golf Classic will begin on Thursday, November 8th, at El Camaleon GC in Playa del Carmen Mexico and we’ll review your best DFS Golf options.

Hello and welcome to another weekly edition of OB’s Lineup, where we create an optimal cash lineup to help build your bankroll for the upcoming golf week. This column is written weekly from the dining commons of my university and is a pure reflection of the cash lineups I will be playing. I put my money where my mouth is, and hope to not only help you win some money, but have fun learning about the DFS Golf world as well.

Most of this information is built for FanDuel users but can apply to any DFS platform. So feel free to use this information as you please. I’m here to help so if you have any questions pertaining to Golf or Fantasy Football feel free to hit my twitter account @M08rien (the OB is a zero and an eight). I am also giving away a free David Johnson jersey there so check it out!

Note: I recommend you deviate this lineup to fit your own thoughts and insight. While you can plug this directly into your contests, feel free to make this your own!

DFS Golf: OB’s Lineup

Were building around two studs at the top this week and then crafting with the lower cost players.

Rickie Fowler ($12,500)

Rickie is somewhat pricey this week but this is a spot where I think you can go many directions and not mess up. He is coming off a fantastic 4th place tie in Las Vegas, and should be in store for another great performance in Mexico. Would it surprise you if he won this tourney? It wouldn’t surprise me. I am also a big Rickie fan so, this spot is flexible.

More from FanSided

Gary Woodland ($11,800)

Woodland is the only guy on this entire slate that I want in every single one of my lineups. He is hot as a golfer could be, and for less than 12k this price leaves more room for your lower priced targets. He has yet to place out of the top ten this year. Ride the hot hand.

Billy Horschel ($10,100)

Horschel is underpriced in the 10k range. A few poor performances in Asia led to a significant price drop, which I am more than willing to attack. Horschel is a top talent on the PGA Tour, play him with confidence. We are looking straight into the eyes of a bounce-back performance.

Abraham Ancer ($10,000)

Ancer is one of my favorite young golfers who has climbed the ranks of the tour over the past year. I am old enough to remember when Ancer was in the 8k range, cashing lineups for me weekly. Now that he has proven himself, I trust him fully. He has great upside and is going to flash again this week in Mexico.

Patton Kizzire ($8,100)

Kizzire is one of my favorite buy-low candidates considering he is almost in the 7k range and he makes his cuts consistently. He had two porous rounds to end the HSBC Champions, but I think he could string together a good enough performance this week.

Harris English ($7,500)

English is the best guy in this range without a doubt. He has the potential to snap at any time and be a great tournament play. I am playing him in both cash and tournaments this weekend. This should show the confidence I have in English.
