77. . 6-4. Previous: 9th. Los Angeles Clippers. 8. team

The Clippers split their four games this week but they’ve continued to meet every downturn with another spurt and are in the process of entrenching themselves in the middle of the Western Conference playoff picture. They’re top-10 in both offensive and defensive efficiency and you can already see some potential rotational changes which can yield more upside. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been hugely important for their defense and he just received his first start. Marcin Gortat has been replaced by Boban Marjanovic as the starting center.

In addition, the Clippers hold several key trade assets — Avery Bradley and Milos Teodosic — which could net them some more useful depth later in the season. As long as everyone stays healthy here, they have the opportunity to build on this early season momentum and get stronger as the year goes on.
