NFL Week 10 2018: Broadcast map
This week’s slate of NFL games features a pair of matches pitting playoff contenders against each other, with the Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams being the most important of the two.
The Los Angeles Rams survived an upset bid from the Green Bay Packers in Week 8, but they finally lost their first game of the regular season last week against the New Orleans Saints. Michael Thomas’s 200 receiving yards and cell phone celebration captivated the crowd, and the Saints will be favorites in their big Week 10 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Likewise, the Rams are expected to win in Week 10, but they’ll face an even tougher test in the rival Seattle Seahawks, who would love to help push Sean McVay’s electric squad into a momentum-stalling losing streak.
As a whole, Week 10 isn’t heavy on the must-see matchups, but there are a few potential barnburners. On Sunday Night Football, for example, the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will look to affirm that they are contenders this year by defeating a Dallas Cowboys team that has received a modest boost from Amari Cooper.

Note that the Carolina Panthers will face the Pittsburgh Steelers to start the week on Thursday Night Football, and this has “Game of the Week” potential. The same cannot be said for the San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Giants game to finish the week on Monday Night Football, though Nick Mullens’s emergence is quite the storyline.
CBS Early
The Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts game has playoff implications, and the New England Patriots vs. Tennessee Titans is a playoff rematch. Malcolm Butler will be looking for a “revenge game”, but with the way he’s played this season, he’d better hope that Josh Gordon, who broke out with 130 receiving yards in Week 9 against the Packers, doesn’t expose him.
Patrick Mahomes gets to destroy the Arizona Cardinals with former Cards head coach Bruce Arians on the call, while Sam Darnold will seek to outduel the NFL’s worst offense.
CBS Late
If there are two teams that know how to put on a show against each other, it’s the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. The Rams are even more formidable rivals for the Seahawks than the Colin Kaepernick and Jim Harbaugh-led San Francisco 49ers were. But while Jared Goff and Co. are the favorites here, the Seahawks are quietly playing good football behind a still-stout defense and a shockingly-improved offensive line. This will be a heck of a fight.
Meanwhile, the Packers need to close out a game after losing to two Super Bowl contenders, and a game against the Dolphins could be an ideal place for Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, Davante Adams, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to make a statement as an offensive quartet.
FOX
FOX clearly drew the short end of the stick here with the late games, because it’s hard to see any non-Raiders or Chargers fans wanting to see a game involving Jon Gruden’s tanking squad over the Rams vs. Seahawks.
The big ticket FOX game this week is the 1:00 p.m. ET matchup between Cincinnati and New Orleans. Even sans A.J. Green, the Bengals offense is still one of the most exciting in the NFL, and John Ross could be a breakout guy with his speed if he shows he’s actually learned the Bengals offense.
On the other side of the field, the Saints are firing on all cylinders and honestly look like the scariest team in football after defeating the Rams. If they can beat the Bengals by a comfortable margin, they will confirm their status as the best team in the NFC. Maybe, just maybe, Dez Bryant will play a key role in that effort, too.
