As we enter Week 10 of the NFL season it brings us closer to the fantasy football playoffs. Now is the time to be extra careful with your lineup decisions.

This week’s sit and start fantasy football calls were heavily impacted by teams on their bye. The wide receiver position was especially hit hard. Several high profile receivers will be out with the Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans on bye.

Minnesota’s duo of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs have had huge fantasy seasons. Both are in wide receiver one locks and will be missed this week. For Diggs, the bye week came at a good time as he is nursing an injury.

The Texans have two talented pass catchers of their own in DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas. However, the bye week could again be a benefit for someone like Thomas who is getting acclimated to his new team.

Emmanuel Sanders and John Brown also have been strong flex plays this year. Basically, there will be many fantasy owners digging deep on their bench to fill some holes.

Luckily there are some options out there on the waiver wire or on your bench with favorable matchups. Someone like Tyrell Williams would be a great start with the Los Angeles Chargers facing the Oakland Raiders.

Rookie Tre’Quan Smith is starting to come on and should see increased targets with the New Orleans Saints dealing with injury problems at wide receiver.

So, there might be some tough decisions to make this week but there are also some candidates to toss into your starting lineup.
