2019 NFL Mock Draft: Raiders nab Nick Bosa at No. 2
By Brad Weiss
The Indianapolis Colts took care of the Oakland Raiders two weeks ago, as Andrew Luck was able to pick apart their secondary, and the running backs went nuts against a terrible Oakland defense. For Indianapolis, this is a season that will likely end with them picking in the top-10, but there is a bunch to look forward to for Colts fans.
First, Andrew Luck appears healthy, which means the team is going to go back to being a contender in the AFC South very soon. Second, the offensive line is getting better on a week-to-week basis, and that means they will finally be able to keep Luck upright, avoiding another serious injury.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Colts have to continue to get better, and adding a player like Ed Oliver would make their defensive front a strength next season. Some mock drafts have Oliver going in the top-5, including some we have written, but if he does fall to No. 9, the Colts have to pounce.
Oliver is a freak of an athlete, and is a big reason by Houston is having one heck of a season in 2018. He is likely done with college after the 2018 campaign, and whichever NFL team gets him, will be getting an impact player who could make an Aaron Donald-type impact before all is said and done.
