Four of the top 10 fantasy football defenses are on bye. Here are three defenses worth streaming for Week 10.

Fantasy football owners don’t usually change defenses like they’re a No. 3 running back or wide receiver. If you’re lucky enough to draft one and they’re consistent this far into the season, you’re in good shape. This is even truer in shallow leagues because everyone has a chance to draft a top 10 defense.

Most owners usually own one defense and pick one up for the bye week and then drop them the week after. However, with four of the top 10 defenses on bye this week, owners may be looking for a replacement this week. If you are one of the owners who have the Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, Denver Broncos or Baltimore Ravens, here are three options available for you.

All three defenses are owned in less than 35 percent of ESPN leagues and 30 percent of Yahoo leagues.

Buffalo Bills, @NYJ

The Bills defense is the third-most added defense this week, up 21 percent in ESPN leagues. With Sam Darnold out, the New York Jets are starting Josh McCown at quarterback.

Regardless of who is under center for the Jets, their offense is not good. They’ve allowed an average of 9.6 fantasy points per game, 30th in the league. Robby Anderson leads the team with 346 yards and three touchdowns while Quincy Enunwa has the most receptions with 25.

The Bills have a good pass rush with 22 sacks this season and a decent secondary with six interceptions. They would make a good add in season-long and daily fantasy leagues.

Atlanta Falcons, @CLE

The Falcons added another pass rusher by signing Bruce Irvin off waivers. The defense has been decent at getting at the quarterback, 17 sacks, but have allowed a lot of points.

The five fantasy points in Week 9 were the team’s second-highest total this season. Going up against a rookie quarterback in Baker Mayfield and a rookie running back in Nick Chubb should help the defense produce another solid outing.

The Falcons defense is a bit of a reach but could be a difference maker in deeper leagues.

San Francisco 49ers, vs. NYG

The 49ers defense dominated the Oakland Raiders last week, racking up 14 fantasy points. They accumulated eight sacks with just three points allowed. They could finish with a similar result this week.

While the New York Giants have Odell Beckham and Saquon Barkley, the 49ers should still be able to pressure Eli Manning and force a turnover or two. The offensive line has allowed at least four sacks in three straight games.

The Giants have scored over 21 points just twice this season. This could be a low scoring game, maybe 17-14. This pick is more banking on Manning to be on his back more times than Beckham catches the ball.

These three defenses are widely available for a reason. They aren’t consistent producers of fantasy points. However, with the right matchup, like this week, they become viable streaming options in some leagues.
