Stick’s Picks – FantasyDraft Week 10 NFL DFS GPP Targets (Main Slate)

Week 9 was the greatest DFS weekend of my career and hopefully for a lot of you readers. I couldn’t be more excited to get right back to it for Week 10. I’m currently traveling for the weekend so it’s going to be a quick write up but with all of the content you’ll need for your Week 10 NFL DFS GPP action.

Be sure to follow me on Twitter @sticks022 and @FantasyCPR for more fantasy football information. Thank you for reading and best of luck this week!

Week 10 NFL DFS GPP Quarterbacks:

Patrick Mahomes ($14,100)

Not a whole lot to say here – Mahomes consistently gets it done and is averaging 30.52 FantasyDraft points per week. According to TeamRankings.com, the Chiefs are a 16.5 point favorite and have an implied total of 33 points. To me, this seems like a Kareem Hunt game, but Mahomes’ consistency is enough to warrant him a spot in this write up.

Feel confident in 20+ points again from Mahomes this week but his ceiling may be limited if this game becomes an early blow out.

Tom Brady ($12,400)

The Patriots have a nice implied total of 27 points in this road matchup against the Titans. The Titans’ pass defense has actually been pretty solid in 2018, but I think this is a blow-up spot for Tom Brady and the Patriots’ passing attack. Pair him up with Josh Gordon this week and expect big results.

Russell Wilson ($11,300)

Love his price and love his game script. The Seahawks are a 10 point underdog in this game against the Rams and the current total is sitting at 50 points. Assuming the Rams get an early lead and continue to score a lot of points, the Seahawks are going to be playing catch-up all day in this one.

The Rams continued to get torched via the pass and this should lead to a game where Russell has 35+ passing attempts… where do we sign up? Wilson is my #1 QB play in terms of value.

Honorable Mention:

Aaron Rodgers ($12,100)

Mitch Trubisky ($11,100)

Andrew Luck ($10,800)

Matthew Stafford ($10,500)

Week 10 NFL DFS GPP Running Backs:

There are a ton of great running back plays this week. I’ll simply list the guys I’ll be focusing on for my tournament lineups.

Todd Gurley ($18,200) – he’s always in play but quite pricey.

Melvin Gordon ($17,00) – heavy favorite against an awful defense. Will be highly owned and wouldn’t be surprised if we see a lot of Austin Ekeler in garbage time. Gordon should have plenty of opportunities to hit value early in this game.

Kareem Hunt ($16,100) – my #1 RB play on the board this week. Hunt is on fire – lock him in!

James White ($15,100) – touchdown regression is coming, but he’s so highly involved in their offense it’s hard to get off of him. Assuming Gronk doesn’t play, White should be in for a big day.

Joe Mixon ($14,600) – seems like a great pivot for low-ownership. DFS players are going to be scared due to the Saints’ stout run defense. With no A.J. Green, Mixon may be in line for 25+ total touches. Love him for GPP’s.

David Johnson ($12,700) – D.J. is still dirt cheap. Great guy to mini-stack with Kareem Hunt.

Leonard Fournette ($12,400) – no one will play him. Would it surprise you if he goes for 100+ all-purpose yards and two scores?

Aaron Jones ($10,400) – Miami’s run defense is awful. Packers should have no problems scoring points on Sunday. Jones will score a touchdown or two.

Tarik Cohen ($10,300) – this game has sneaky shootout potential. If that is in fact the case, Cohen is going to be busy and has way too much upside to be priced under $11k.

Dion Lewis ($10,300) – assuming the Patriots have their way on offense, the Titans will be playing from behind in this one. Lewis should get plenty of opportunities in this type of game script.

Mark Ingram ($8,800) – I’m thinking the Saints go back to a run-first offense this week against a banged up Bengals unit. Ingram is too cheap for the touchdown upside he provides.

Honorable Mention:

Nick Chubb ($10,900)

Kenyan Drake ($10,500)

Tevin Coleman ($10,100)

Mike Davis ($9,200) *if Chris Carson is ruled out

Duke Johnson Jr. ($9,200)

Elijah McGuire ($6,600)

Week 10 NFL DFS GPP Wide Receivers:

Unlike last week where I was paying up for elite receivers, the Week 10 slate doesn’t entice me to spend a lot of salary at the wide receiver position. Here are the guys I’ll have some shares of, but keep in mind, most of my salary will be going to the elite running backs on the slate.

Julio Jones ($15,700) – Julio finally scored a touchdown in Week 9 and should have plenty of opportunities to find pay dirt again this week. The Browns’ pass defense is solid, but they’re no match for Julio, especially if Denzel Ward misses this game.

Michael Thomas ($15,300) – MT averages over 9 targets per game with Drew Brees as his quarterback. The Bengals’ pass defense is awful. Expect another big game for Michael Thomas.

Davante Adams ($14,700) – the Packers’ offense is due for a massive output so I like Adams’ chances to score 15+ fantasy points this week. His upside will be limited as he is going to see a lot of Xavien Howard, but he’ll see 8+ targets on a Packers’ team who has an implied total of 29 points.

Mike Evans ($13,300) – Evans had a brutal game against the Panthers last week, but he did see 10 targets. Ryan Fitzpatrick loves peppering Evans with targets, so expect him to get right in this matchup against a Redskins’ pass defense that is in horrible form.

Keenan Allen ($13,300) – there is no one on the Raiders’ defense that can cover Keenan. He is a lock for 6+ catches and 80+ receiving yards. If he finds the end-zone, he’ll have a big day before this game gets out of hand.

Cooper Kupp ($12,200) – Kupp puts up solid fantasy points week in, week out. He is Goff’s favorite target and will continue to put up points in Week 10.

Jarvis Landry ($11,700) – it looks like Landry will be matched up with Falcons’ corner, Brian Poole. Yes!

Josh Gordon ($11,300) – Gordon is going to score a touchdown, if not two in this matchup against a slow, Malcolm Butler. Gordon is a top-5 WR play this week.

Larry Fitzgerald ($10,600) – it looks like Larry Fitz is fantasy relevant again. Assuming the Cardinals fall behind early in this game against the Chiefs, Fitz should see 10+ targets. Stack him with Hunt and David Johnson.

Marvin Jones Jr. ($10,400) – if this game shoots out like I anticipate, Marvin Jones is due for a big game and will be very low owned.

Doug Baldwin ($10,200) – not in love with the matchup here as the Rams don’t allow a lot of damage from their opponents’ slot receivers. I do love Russell Wilson this week and will take a shot on Baldwin finally having a breakout game.

Honorable Mention:

Julian Edelman ($12,700)

Christian Kirk ($10,200)

Kenny Golladay ($10,100)

Tyler Lockett ($9,500)

Corey Davis ($8,800)

Maurice Harris ($8,500)

John Ross ($7,700)

Anthony Miller ($7,400)

Week 10 NFL DFS GPP Tight Ends:

Per usual, most of my lineups will have lower-priced tight ends due to paying up elsewhere. Here are the tight ends I’ll have shares of in Week 10:

Travis Kelce ($13,200) – if you can afford Kelce, just play him.

More from FanSided

Zach Ertz ($12,900) – will be interesting to see how targets go around in Philly with the addition of Golden Tate, but Ertz performs on a weekly basis, so I’ll have at least one share of him in my GPP roster builds.

O.J. Howard ($9,700) – Howard is on fire and enters another plus-matchup against the Redskins in Week 10.

Trey Burton ($7,400) – my #1 TE play on the board in terms of value. This game is going to offer a lot of scoring despite TeamRankings.com showing a total of only 44 points. Burton will have a nice fantasy day.

Eric Ebron ($7,000) – Ebron will be incredibly low-owned as the general public will flock to roster Jack Doyle. The Colts run a lot of two tight-end formations… Ebron will be just fine.

Honorable Mention:

David Njoku ($8,000)

Jordan Reed ($8,000)

C.J. Uzomah ($7,300)

NFL FantasyDraft GPP DST:

Week 10 is a very tough week to pay-down for defense. I won’t have the salary to pay up for the Los Angeles Chargers ($7,000), Chicago Bears ($6,700), or the New York Jets ($6,700).

Personally, I’d avoid the Bears in GPP’s just in case that game does shoot-out like I’m expecting, but the Chargers and Jets are obvious great plays. My focus will be on locking in the Green Bay Packers ($5,700), Philadelphia Eagles ($5,700), and the New England Patriots ($5,300).

NFL FantasyDraft GPP Sample Lineup:

QB: Russell Wilson (no WR stack in this one)

RB: Todd Gurley

RB: Kareem Hunt

WR: Josh Gordon

WR: Jarvis Landry

TE: Trey Burton

FLEX: Aaron Jones

FLEX: Austin Ekeler

DST: Green Bay Packers
