This week on the NFL schedule there are a ton of important matchups. It’s likely that your fantasy football league is in a similar situation where every game counts.

There are more than a few teams on bye this week including Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers. Each of these teams have some players that will be missed on your fantasy football roster.

Tom Brady, Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham Jr. are the three biggest names. These three were likely one of the first few players you drafted.

In the case of Brady, it’s possible that you don’t have a reliable backup on your roster. This means you are hitting the waiver wire to find a streamer. Marcus Mariota might be available in your league, but otherwise Eli Manning might be the best option.

Finding a fill in for Barkley and Beckham will be easier based on the likelihood of position depth on your roster.

Some of the under the radar players on bye this week including James White, Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon and George Kittle. The tight end position has been pretty tough to fill this year and losing Kittle for a week will sting.

Obviously, the situation surrounding Rob Gronkowski is worth mentioning. This bye week actually comes at a good time because it gives him some extra days to get healthy.

My sit and start calls for this week were impacted by the heavy bye week. There are more than a few risky calls that show up. This is especially the case at running back and wide receiver.
