A lackluster Week 12 features plenty of cupcake games, but there’s still some must-see action for die-hard fans to watch this weekend.

Week 12 may not feature a handful of top-25 college football match-ups, but fans should be prepared to watch some high-stakes conference games that will shape Championship Weekend.

Iowa State had a rocky start to the 2018 season but has since turned it around. On Saturday, the Cyclones will travel to Austin for a game against the Texas Longhorns. With both teams still in contention for a spot in the Big 12 Championship game, expect to see each team pull out all the tricks.

College Gameday will make a rare stop at an American Athletic Conference game when UCF hosts Cincinnati. Central Florida holds the nations largest winning streak and will look to clinch a spot in the AAC Championship game with a win over the Bearcats.

When Syracuse visits Notre Dame on Saturday, the talk won’t be about winning a conference championship. That said, this may be the biggest game Notre Dame has played in years. With a spot in the College Football Playoffs in reach, the Fighting Irish can’t afford to slip up down the stretch.
