The No. 15 Texas Longhorns will host the No. 16 Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday night. Here is how to watch this Big 12 game online via live streaming.

The 2018 college football season is winding down. However, several conference championship game matchups have yet to be decided. Two teams that still have a shot to play in the Big 12 Championship in Arlington are the No. 16 Iowa State Cyclones (6-3) and the No. 15 Texas Longhorns (7-3).

Kickoff from Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas will be at 8:00 p.m. ET, 7:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 17. It will be televised on The Longhorn Network and you can watch via WatchESPN if you have TLN on your cable provider.

Not every provider has The Longhorn Network, but there are a few places offering free trials, including DIRECTVNOW in Texas and Playstation Vue nationally. You can see a full list of providers here.

Iowa State enters play as the No. 16 team in the nation. The Cyclones are 6-3 on the season and 5-2 in Big 12 play. After losing three of their first four games, they have since won five straight games, including road wins over the TCU Horned Frogs and the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Texas enters play as the No. 15 team in the nation. The Longhorns are 7-3 on the season and 5-2 in Big 12 play. After losing their season opener to the Maryland Terrapins on a neutral-site, Texas has gone 7-2 with wins over the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Their two other losses are to the Oklahoma State Cowboys and West Virginia.

Both teams are still in the mix to play for a Big 12 championship. Iowa State must beat Texas in Austin, as well as the Kansas State Wildcats next week to reach AT&T Stadium in Arlington. That’s totally in play if they beat Texas on Saturday night after West Virginia lost to Oklahoma State earlier in the day.

Texas’ path to Arlington is a little more complicated. Obviously, the Longhorns will need to win at home versus Iowa State. Plus, the Longhorns will need Oklahoma to beat West Virginia next week to force a Red River Rivalry rematch.

Could either team win this one in Austin on Saturday night? Absolutely. While Iowa State might be the slight favorite on a neutral site given that they are only getting two points on the road, a night game in Austin definitely favors Texas.

Look for this one to go down to the wire, as the winner of this game stands a great chance at making it to the Big 12 championship. However, the loser can kiss a potential conference championship appearance goodbye. This has the chance to be the best game of the weekend on the college football slate.
