Don’t miss the four remaining NASCAR Cup Series championship contenders battle it out in Miami.

Just 400 miles around Homestead-Miami Speedway separate either Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick or Joey Logano from the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series championship. Most likely, it’s going to take a victory in the Ford EcoBoost 400 to name the champ as well.

That’s if recent history is any indicator. It’s been five years since there was a champion who didn’t win at Homestead, and everyone trying to take the title on Sunday except Logano won their most recent championships that way. Drivers like pole-sitter Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski may figure into the race before it’s over, but it would be a surprise if one of the final four contenders — or more than one — wasn’t battling for the win at the end.

Being in front to start the final stage and staying there through pit stops could be crucial. Brett Moffitt, who won the Truck Series championship on Friday night, and Tyler Reddick, who did the same in the XFINITY Series race on Saturday afternoon, were both able to drive out to big enough leads in the closing laps that only mistakes, catastrophic failures or late cautions could have prevented them from bringing it home.
