For the early round of CBS games, most of the country will be getting a classic AFC East showdown between the New England Patriots and New York Jets at the Meadowlands. It’s very fitting that the Patriots and Jets are playing just a few days after Thanksgiving Day, the sixth anniversary of Mark Sanchez’s infamous butt fumble.
Another interesting game will be the Cleveland Browns taking on Hue Jackson’s new team, the Cincinnati Bengals.
For the late round of CBS, most of America will be caught up watching one game, unless you live in Indiana or Florida. Every other market will get the Pittsburgh Steelers visiting the Denver Broncos. This is an underrated game, as it’s essentially a do-or-die game for the Broncos. If they lose and fall to 4-7, their playoff hopes are pretty much out the door.
On the FOX side of things, most people will be watching either the Seattle Seahawks at the Carolina Panthers, or the New York Giants at the Philadelphia Eagles. The former has playoff implications for both Seattle and Carolina, as neither team has much chance of catching their respective division leaders and are battling to secure a wild card spot.
As for the latter matchup, you can never go wrong with a classic NFC East showdown, even though the Giants and Eagles aren’t exactly juggernauts this season.
