Start: Jordan Howard, Chicago Bears

@ New York Giants

It hasn’t been a great year for Jordan Howard when you look at the numbers. For fantasy purposes, it has been a near disaster. The Chicago Bears offense has completely changed from last year and Howard has been a victim of that.

This week could be a very different story. There are reports that Mitch Trubisky could miss another game with a shoulder injury. The Giants are allowing over 125 rushing yards per game, so it could be a perfect situation to give Howard more touches.

Sit: Josh Adams, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

vs. Washington Redskins

Josh Adams emergence as the Philadelphia Eagles top running back is a bit of a surprise. He has passed two veteran players in Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood on the depth chart. Those two veterans have had their share of success with the Eagles over the past few years.

However, Adams and the Eagles have a tough matchup against the stout Washington Redskins defense. This group is allowing only 100 rushing yards per game and will look to shut Adams down early in this contest.

Slowing down Adams has become a little more important after he was heavily featured against the New York Giants. His 22 carries were the most by an Eagles running back all season.
