Week 13 of the NFL season is here and it’s time to make some money. Here are the five wagers you should bank on this weekend.

If we seem to be pretty confident about our picks this weekend, it’s because we are. Coming off a 4-1 week tends to have that effect. It’s our sincere hope that you rolled with us last week and got rich off our recommendations.

In the event that you didn’t trust us during Week 12, Week 13 gives you a new opportunity to get on board. This isn’t exactly a glamorous slate of NFL matchups, but there are quite a few tasty bets for you to sink your teeth into.

We’ll get started with a game featuring a team that desperately needs to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Bet on them having the firepower to get it done.

5. Take the Ravens -1 at Atlanta

The Ravens aren’t a dominant team by any means, but at 6-5 they are still in the hunt for a playoff berth. The Falcons, in sharp contrast, do not have a realistic chance of making the postseason.

Betting on teams with a lot at stake tends to work out. Baltimore may not know which quarterback they’re going to start on Sunday, but either one should be able to inspire this offense to enough points to knock off Atlanta.

In all honesty, we’d love the Falcons here if they had anything meaningful to play for. Unfortunately, it’s probably going to be a pretty sad home environment for Matt Ryan and company. Look for the Ravens to jump on them early to crush their spirit before the game has a chance to really get going.

That means you can get crazy with this line. It’s very possible the Ravens will race out to a healthy lead in the first quarter. You might want to consider going all the way to 6.5. As it stands, taking the Ravens -1 is the right play.
