For the first time in a while, the Bucks have slid out of the top spot in these power rankings. The Bucks still have the best point differential in the league, an edge of a nearly a point-and-a-half per 100 possessions over the now No. 1 Toronto Raptors. However, the Bucks have been slowly sliding backward while the Raptors haven’t taken their foot off the gas. Over their last 10 games, the Bucks are just 6-4 with a plus-7.1 point differential, against an 8-2 record and plus-9.1 differential for the Raptors.

Things don’t get any easier for the Bucks this week, with games against the Pistons, Warriors and Raptors. This could be an opportunity for them to reestablish themselves as the best team in the league, or to continue sliding back towards the pack and leaving the league’s top tier as open as its been for a long time.
