During the 2018 NFL Draft, the New York Jets traded up from No. 6, to No. 3, selecting USC quarterback Sam Darnold. It did not take Darnold long to become the starter in New York, as he was under center for the team’s Week 1 matchup against the Detroit Lions, leading the Jets to an improbable victory.

While that was a nice moment for Jets fans, the rest of the season has been trash, and Darnold currently is not even playing for the team. Josh McCown has taken over for the rookie, as he is dealing with an injury, and the losses keep piling up, including a terrible game Sunday where they blew a big lead to the Tennessee Titans.

Darnold is going to be a good quarterback in this league, but he does not have many weapons around him. While the Jets could go with an offensive tackle at No. 3, as their line is pretty porous, it may be worth their while to go after a solid weapon for Darnold, selecting elite wideout N’Keal Harry from Arizona State.

Harry has established himself as the best wide receiver in this draft class, and will leave Arizona State as arguably the best Pac-12 wideout we have seen in a while. He has the ability to take the lid off a defense, and on this Jets roster, he would slide right in as the top wide receiver on the depth chart in year one.
