3. Bet on the Cowboys -3.5 vs. the Eagles

Someone has to win the NFC East and right now it looks like the Cowboys have the best shot. Of course, a loss to the Eagles in Week 14 could really screw things up for Jason Garrett’s team. Fortunately for fans in Big D, Philadelphia looks like a mess at the moment.

There’s certainly a chance that Doug Pederson’s crew puts it all together in Week 14, but we really haven’t seen any signs that would signal that sort of development. That makes it a really poor choice to bet against a Cowboys team that is clearly playing its best football of the season.

We tend to think the impact of Amari Cooper on the Cowboys offense is a little overrated, but it’s hard to argue with the results since he came over from the Raiders. At the very least, he’s giving opposing defenses something to worry about in the passing game. He could be in line for a gigantic day against and Eagles secondary that’s short on healthy bodies.

Ezekiel Elliott is still going to be priority one for the Cowboys in this game. Interestingly enough, he may really thrive if the Eagles try to load the box to stop him. Elliott has a great habit of gashing defenses for big games that crowd the line of scrimmage.

Feel free to tease this line all the way to 6.5 This game feels like the time of the year when the Eagles roll over. The Cowboys could steamroll their division rivals at home.
