2. New Orleans Saints

On prime time television last week the Saints fell victim to some poor play and even worse officiating, and it cost them a win. With the playoffs just around the corner, the Saints need to rebound and get back on the winning track. They previously had the longest active winning streak in the league, so that should not be an issue.

On the road against the inter-division Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Saints have a good opportunity to erase last week from their memory. Although the Buccaneers have played some decent offense recently, their defense is deplorable and Drew Brees should have a field day. The simple fact is the Buccaneers secondary cannot compete, and the Saints have one of the best passing attacks in the league.

The Saints can clinch a playoff spot this weekend, but like the Chargers, they need some help. To clinch the division, they need to beat the Buccaneers and the Panthers need to lose or tie in Cleveland.

To simply clinch a playoff berth they need a little more help. In addition to a win, the Saints need the Vikings, Eagles, and Redskins to all lose or tie. Seems like a lot, but all of those scenarios are possible and one could argue, likely. The common denominator is a Saints win, they can start there.
