DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 9, 2018
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Rudy Gobert (at SA – $8,200): Needs 39.6 fantasy points. Gobert had 43.5 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 4. And he did it in just 29 minutes. Unless he gets ejected three minutes into the game once again, expect him to perform. He’ll have a lot of pent up aggression and the matchup is a good one given the Spurs defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling. Just as long as they keep the water cups away from him.
Enes Kanter (vs CHA – $7,500): Needs 36.2 fantasy points. Kanter had 48.5 fantasy points against the Nets on Saturday. As always, as long as the minutes are there, the production will be there for him. He’s typically good for a double-double and has the ability to put up big scoring and rebounding numbers. The matchup is good as the Hornets struggle against frontcourt players. Diagnosis: Love Kanter on Sunday.
Serge Ibaka (vs MIL – $5,800): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. Ibaka was down to 20 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 7. He’s leveled off after his hot start and his minutes have gone down. He had 45.7 fantasy points against the Bucks on Oct. 29 and is averaging 35.9 fantasy points in his last four games against the Bucks. This just appears to be his matchup. Diagnosis: Proven matchup. Trust him to bounce back after some rough outings.
