High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

DeMar DeRoan (vs UTA – $8,700): Needs 39.5 fantasy points. DeRozan was up to 63 fantasy points against the Lakers on Dec. 7. He’s been dominating the Lakers this season, but the Jazz are a tougher matchup. He had just 30 fantasy points against them on Dec. 4. He’s still the best option on the Spurs given his offensive ability, but I’m not a huge fan of this matchup. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but the matchup is tough. Slight risk.

Donovan Mitchell (at SA – $7,400): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. Mitchell was down to 13.2 against the Rockets on Dec. 6. He’s been trending down, which isa concern. Part of that is minutes related as the Jazz have been blowing teams out. The other part is his scoring can be inconsistent and he doesn’t always do enough in other areas to make up that value. Matchup is great as the Spurs defense is not good. Diagnosis: Great matchup, high ceiling, but a bit inconsistent.

Eric Bledsoe (at TOR – $7,100): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. Bledsoe was down to 27.75 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 7. That’s usually his matchup, but his rebounding and scoring numbers were down. He had 33 fantasy points against the Raptors on Oct. 29, but Giannis and Kawhi didn’t play is that game, so he got more opportunities. Diagnosis: Inconsistent and tough matchup, but a high ceiling.
