DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 9, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jeremy Lamb (at NY – $6,200): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. Lamb was down to 14.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Dec. 7. It was his first miss in awhile and I’m going to chalk it up to an off night rather than worry that it’s the start of something new. Plus, it’s the Knicks. They seem to fix a lot of mistakes for a lot of teams. Diagnosis: Trust him to bounce back. It’s the Knicks.
Jae Crowder (at SA – $4,800): Needs 22 fantasy points. Crowder had 24.75 fantasy points against the Rockets on Dec. 6. The circumstances were weird because Gobert was ejected and Favors slid in. And the Jazz still blew them out, which limited Crowder’s minutes. His minutes were also limited against the Spurs on Dec. 4 due to a blowout. Trust this game to be competitive and for Crowder to deliver. Diagnosis: Gets the minutes and contributes in multiple ways. Reliable at this salary.
Miles Bridges (at NY – $3,900): Needs 17.9 fantasy points. Bridges doesn’t always get the minutes, but I think they’ll be there in this matchup. The Knicks aren’t good and Bridges’ energy can hurt them in a big way. He can put up solid scoring and rebounding numbers when he does get on the floor. He’s at a low enough cost to where he won’t hurt you too bad either. Diagnosis: Reliable at the salary and I have a good feeling that his minutes will be up, leading to a bigger game.
