Players costing $6,250 or under

Bobby Portis (at SA – $5,400): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. Portis had 27.75 fantasy points in 22 minutes against the Magic on Dec. 13. His minutes aren’t exactly there right now as he works himself back from injury. But tehey are starting to go up and he’s shown that he can do a lot in limited time. The matchup is a good one. He should get points in this game and he’ll chip in with rebounds. Diagnosis: Reliable. Limited minutes hurt his ceiling.

Cody Zeller (vs LAL – $4,900): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. Zeller had a big 48.25 fantasy point game against the Knicks on Friday. He’s been reliable for the majority of the season and flashed a high ceiling like the one he showed on Friday throughout. The minutes are certainly there for him. The matchup is good, but the circumstances could be better. Don’t be surprised if he drops off a bit on the back-to-back. Diagnosis: Slight risk, but typically reliable.

Richaun Holmes (vs MIN – $4,000): Needs 18.8 fantasy points. Holmes continue to play well in limited minutes. He had 27.25 fantasy points in 22 minutes against the Mavericks on Dec. 13. He remains at a nice salary given what he’s able to accomplish in a short period of time. The matchup isn’t bad and Holmes just has a knack for getting fantasy numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
