High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Victor Oladipo (vs CLE – $9,600): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. Oladipo looked more like himself on Dec. 16 against the Knicks, finishing with 57.1 fantasy points. The matchup is good once again on Tuesday, but a blowout could limit his ceiling. He’ll put up big numbers for as long as he plays, I’m just not sure he’ll play quite enough. Still a reliable option at this salary. Diagnosis: Even in limited minutes, he’ll do enough to hit value.

D’Angelo Russell (vs LAL – $7,300): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. Russell was up to 55.7 fantasy points against the Hawks on Dec. 16. He had been struggling prior to that game so it was nice of him to bounce back. And now he gets the Lakers. It’s still a revenge game for Russell and he played fairly well against them last year despite his injury issues. He’s healthy this year and I expect him to take this one personally. Diagnosis: Reliable and I love a good revenge game.

Kent Bazemore (vs WAS – $6,800): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. Bazemore continues to deliver and was up to 40.1 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 16. As long as he’s starting, he’s a strong option. The scoring and assist numbers have been there for him during this recent stretch. And now he gets the Wizards defense. He should have no problem getting more assists and points in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Quick Hits

Bradley Beal ($8,300): Great matchup and reliable. But a blowout could limit him.
