NFL quarterback rankings, Week 16: Jared Goff slides

For the second consecutive week, the Los Angeles Rams watched as Jared Goff struggled to hang tough in the pocket. That’s not a good sign.

This week, and every Tuesday of the season, the rankings are based with a combination of current play and performance of an indicator of what is to come.

Donald Hollas Division

32. Cody Kessler (LW: 32)

Kessler has no business playing in an NFL game. He couldn’t crack 100 passing yards against the Redskins, who have been getting blown out left and right since Alex Smith went down. Just goes to show how truly awful Blake Bortles is.

31. Josh Johnson (LW: NA)

As you can tell, the Redskins-Jaguars game was not a thing of beauty. Washington is on its fourth starting quarterback, and Johnson is playing like one. It’s been a weird, disappointing, ugly year for the Redskins.

30. Jeff Driskel (LW: 30)

Driskel wasn’t good against the Raiders, and yet the Bengals scored 30 points. Why? Because we’re talking about the Raiders. The Bengals have to be thinking about an upgrade at quarterback across the depth chart come the offseason.
