NFL quarterback rankings, Week 16: Jared Goff slides
Dave Krieg Division
20. Lamar Jackson (LW: 24)
Jackson still has trouble throwing the ball for any real yardage, but he’s getting the job done. Baltimore is 8-6 behind a ground attack spearheaded by Jackson, and a wicked defense. Now another big test, with a road game against the Chargers.
19. Jameis Winston (LW: 19)
Winston has been avoiding the dumb mistakes that have marred his career, but he’s still looking at a season line of 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. The Buccaneers still have ample faith in him, but the turnovers have to stop.
18. Cam Newton (LW: 17)
The Panthers have dealt with one of the more underrated injuries this season in Greg Olsen. Without him, Carolina struggles to threaten anybody in the air. Newton is playing with one hand behind his back and a brutally injured shoulder.
17. Nick Foles (LW: NA)
Foles is about to make another run in January, isn’t he? With Carson Wentz on the sideline due to a broken vertebrae, the Eagles stunned the Rams and are now in the thick of postseason contention. If Foles does this again, he’s a god.
