This is championship week for many fantasy football leagues across the country which makes every lineup decision crucial.

We are in a sort of of unique situation this year when it comes to looking at the Week 16 storylines. Typically, we have a team or two that have already secured home field advantage and might consider sitting or resting some of their stars.

This year that isn’t the case as top two seeds in each conference are still up for grabs. Having that home field advantage is extremely important for those teams hoping to earn themselves a Super Bowl berth.

Teams like the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints will not want to travel to a cold-weather venue like Chicago in January.

We saw a few weeks ago how the combination of a loud home crowd, colder weather and tough defense impacted the Rams and Bears matchup. This means there’s no way that one of these teams will be resting any of their players.

My fanduel lineup for this week features several players on teams that have a lot on the line this weekend. The Minnesota Vikings are one of those teams with plenty to play for. Minnesota entered the year as the clear favorite in the NFC North and now are battling for a wild card spot.

Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook and the Vikings defense are all strong plays this week. They not only have the pressure to perform but also a solid matchup against the Detroit Lions.
