Tight End: Evan Engram, New York Giants

@ Indianapolis Colts, Sunday 1:00pm

FanDuel Cost: $5,700

It’s another tough week for the tight end position. One option would be to spend big money on someone like Zach Ertz or George Kittle, but neither of them are guaranteed to have huge games. For example, Kittle comes in at a cost of $7,400 which is $200 more than Mike Evans.

The value just doesn’t stand up when you are trying to put together a complete lineup. It makes more sense to save money and take a shot with someone like Evan Engram.

Over the past three weeks, Engram has seen a strong share of targets while topping the 60 yard mark in each game. He’s someone who Eli Manning looks to get the ball to down the seam and across the middle.

Backup Option: Vance McDonald, Pittsburgh Steelers

@ New Orleans Saints, Sunday 1:00pm

FanDuel Cost: $5,500

Vance McDonald is more of a risk play than someone like Engram. He hasn’t had many big performances and is typically very touchdown dependent. However, his cost is very low and he has just enough upside to be an option.

If you’re going to put McDonald in your lineup you have to be ok with the fact that he could give you single-digit points.
