Where can you watch Murphy Brown season 11 finale online?

There certainly seems to be a lot of drama coming up in the season finale for Murphy Brown. Last week saw Avery pick himself up after quitting/being fires from the WOLF network (two months later), and head out on the reporting trail again. And his new assignment was sure to be an adventure. He headed to Afghanistan to report on the war there, and try to find Murphy’s previous contact, who had disappeared.

Throughout episode 12 Frank compared their (fictional) situation to the very real Pentagon Papers. That works more in theory than in reality, because the war in Afghanistan has officially been a war pretty much the whole time. But the idea, that the army/government would manipulate reports to make themselves look good, isn’t new.

However smoothly (or not) his mission goes, Murphy is going to worry about it. In one sneak peek it’s clear (though rather unbelievable) that Murphy didn’t really understand where Avery was going. Her near astonishment that there was any connection to western culture in Afghanistan was amusing, but also very stereotypical of many Americans.

Murphy may be feeling a little down, so it’ll be up to the rest of the Murphy in the Morning crew to get her into the holiday spirit in time for the New Years celebration. Phil’s New Years party has apparently been long time tradition, so OF COURSE this year Phyllis wanted to cancel it. But she didn’t, out of “guilt and obligation,” so Murphy will at least have some help taking her mind off things. And who knows what Avery is going to uncover. Hopefully he’ll find whatever it is quickly enough for it to show up on this episode, seeing as it’s the season finale.
