High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jaren Jackson Jr (at SAC – $5,800): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. Triple J has been up-and-down in his last handful of games. He was up against the Blazers, finishing with 31.75 fantasy points. I expect him to break the trend in this game. He’s averaging 38.6 fantasy points in two games against the Kings this season. He’s young into his career, but this might be his matchup. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.

Marvin Williams (vs DET – $4,900): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Williams was back up to 38 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Dec. 19. He had 28.5 fantasy points against the Pistons on Dec. 12. The matchup is good and while his floor is really low, I trust the matchup and for him to deliver with his scoring and rebounding. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Cedi Osman (at TOR – $4,200): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. The minutes are still there for Cedi, which is the good news. He hasn’t shown the high ceiling he had earlier in the season, but he’s played well against the Raptors this season, averaging 33 fantasy points in two games against them. He’s at a low salary and with so many strong high salary options, grabbing someone this low is a good idea. Diagnosis: Reliable, proven matchup, and a good ceiling. Price helps.
